The Fashion Show was hosted by Yona Wade, who thanked the makeup artists, hair stylists, marketing and production crew, and sponsors. Here, attendees could purchase items from the fashion show. On Sunday, November 5, the Kananesgi Fashion Trunk Show took place at the Event Center. The market allowed attendees to view and buy unique art pieces, and provided a platform for local artists. Participants included Jenn Bird, Dorine George, Letitia George, Butch Goings, Ed Goings, Lauren Goings, Louise Goings, Charlie Jumper, Jacob Long, among others. They showcased a range of styles, reflecting their interpretations of contemporary Cherokee art.Įarlier, the Kananesgi Art Market was held at the same location, with a variety of artworks and vendors. The show featured 20 designers, including industry veterans Sharon Bradley, Kenny Glass, Terri Henry, Ayosta Lossie, and Betty Maney, as well as emerging designers such as Tara McCoy, Aisha Owle, and Amy Postoak. The Kananesgi Fashion Show had its fifth edition on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort's Event Center, North Carolina.
